What does the survey tell us?

Simply put, UW-Madison workers are uncomfortable with the administration’s plan to bring students back to campus:

86.4% of all respondents across campus reported feeling either extremely uncomfortable or uncomfortable.

COVID-19 cases are spiking across the country, but due to alarming inaction at all levels of government, our communities are no more prepared now than we were three months ago. Hospitals and clinics are once again scrambling for crucial supplies like respirators, masks, gowns, and gloves–with potentially dangerous consequences.

The COVID-19 Pandemic and State Employment

WPEC and WSP (Wisconsin Science Professionals) requested a meeting with Malika Evanco, Administrator of DOA's Division of Personnel Management, to talk about the pandemic and its impact on state employees.  Below is a statement they gave to DOA at their first meeting in June.
