Here is an update on how UO faculty are doing compared to our AAU comparitors.

Important Budget Information
In the latest issue of Union Action, postcards to support the passage of the Employee Free Choice Act were inserted. We asked that faculty sign the postcards and return them through interoffice mail to AFT 2121 at 31 Gough Street. The postcards have begun to arrive, and we have received a good number so far. But we need many more postcards soon, and here’s why:

CCSF administrators, particularly those who manage the library, have failed to address faculty staffing problems and other concerns despite a growing number of grievances being filed by AFT on behalf of library faculty.
Faculty must get our fair share!
Negotiations for a new AFT/District contract continue this semester. The bargaining teams are rewriting the leave and evaluation provisions of the agreement for clarity and to address deficiencies in procedures.
