Local 3143 - Our New Contract

10/9/08 – Our local membership, the FCCS Board and the Franklin County Commissioners have all agreed on and approved our new contract. We were able to come to this agreement due to the time and hard work given by the negotiating team and the council officers, and most of all due to the participation, organization and support of all our members. You can view the contract by clicking >here or on the New Contract link above.

Cuba Federation of School Employees 2009-2010 Contract

Classified public school employees (workers paid by the hour) and teachers who are employed by the Cuba Board of Education now have a new contract with the Board. The new contract is called The Negotiated Agreement. The contract can be viewed, downloaded and printed if you have an Adobe Reader program on your computer.

Voluntary Retirement Savings

The school district currently offers two voluntary retirement savings plan. The 457(b) is known as the New York State Deferred Compensation Plan (NYDCP). As of January 1st, 2009, Omni will coordinate with approved vendors the 403(b). These Plans allow employee contributions through payroll deduction in a variety of investment choices. Employee contributions are not subject to current federal and New York State income taxes.

Office Hours & General Meeting Time Reminder

Rowan AFT Local 2373 Offices will be open during the following hours:

Mon - Fri - 10 AM to 4:00 PM

These hours are subject to change from time to time.  Please check at least at the beginning of each semester to learn of any changes.

The office will be closed at for 1 hour daily from Noon to 1:00 p.m. for lunch.

Remember:  General Membership Meetings and Executive Committee Meetings begin at 1:45 PM on Fridays unless otherwise posted or when a last minute change has been made.
