The HFT Story

The Monroe Federation of Teachers and School Employees has posted a copy of the city teacher salary schedule online.

We have talked to Gene Lapko a second time on this issue and resolved the problems.  Gene has signed a memorandum of understanding with us stating that these are considered standard practices, and as such are still available even though they are not spelled out in the contract.  If you have any problems with your supervisor with this issue, please contact your union representative.

LCPS Secretaries has contacted CSEC-LC about organizing and becoming members of CSEC-LC.

LCPS Physical Plant Employees decided that they needed to have a voice and 52 out of 60 employees joined CSEC-LC in order to get collective bargaining.

For all double time hours (seventh day of pay period) please place "2x" next to those hours on your time sheet.  This way George will be able to differentiate between regular overtime and double time.  Thanks.
